TrackStar is a web based software tracking tool.  Modules are included for:

The Time Tracking Software allows you to track time against projects.  Employees use the time tracking forms to enter their time online.  The Timesheet uses a personalized template that makes entering time fast and simple.  Once time has been entered, employees (optionally) submit their timesheets electronically for approval.  Managers use the approval functions to review Time Sheets online, and to perform approvals.  Once time has been approved, data is available through the online reporting system.  Dozens of reports are available giving numerous views of the data.  You can quickly determine how much time is spent on projects; see who is working on what, etc.  The Time Tracking Software is offered as an optional module, and leverages the capabilities found in the Project management Software module.

 The Project Management Software includes functions for creating and managing projects.  Project information is stored in the central database, and is available to everyone, anytime, anywhere.  You use the project maintenance tool to create projects, allocate resources, and schedule tasks.  It includes a built-in scheduler, and also works with third party scheduling tools.  The Time Tracking Software module complements the Project Management Software by integrating the time tracking functions at the project level.  The project management software helps you to efficiently allocate resources across projects, and manage you project portfolio.  TrackStar is an ideal solution for companies tracking many projects at one time. 

 The Item Tracking system, also know as  Bug Tracking Software or Defect Tracking system, can be used to track any business item that needs sophisticated tracking and reporting.  You enter items thorough an entry wizard, which steps you through the process.  Once entered, items are automatically routed to appropriate employees using a definable routing table. You can perform (and save) advanced searches, including text searches through your item backlog.  Numerous reports are provided showing item backlog, items by various categories, and average days outstanding.  The reports provided excellent metrics for measuring group performance and monitoring customer service levels.  The Bug Tracking Software is integrated with both the Project Management Software and Time Tracking System to leverage the capabilities of each.

TrackStar is available as an in-house solution, or as a serviced solution (ASP).  It is scaleable from a few users, up to thousands of users.  It is very affordable, flexible, tailorable, and extremely easy to use.
