The Prospect Tracking module provides forms to enter and track prospects in a
sales environment. You use the system to enter prospect information, such
as the company, the contact, and various other information fields. Then,
as you work through the sales cycle, you use the system to track notes, events,
and correspondance.
The system interfaces with your email system to provide a simple method for
tracking correspondance. For example, when you send an email to a
prospect, you simple "cc" the tracking system, and the message is automatically
recorded in the database.
The system supports assitgment tracking, and interfaces with your email system
to notify people when prospects are assigned to them. It supports an
automatic routing facility, that can be used to route new prospects based on
criteria such as State, Zip, Product, or otehr criteria.
